Upcoming episode: job hunting in the Middle East region

I've discovered Reddit is quite an interesting place to see many people asking the same questions for a major topic. This is evident across various subreddits, especially when it comes to finding jobs. The last geographic region that people never considered for many years, and now it's on the radar for many people (given how word spreads on the lifestyle and standard of living).

What I've seen on subreddits related to jobs can be summarized into a nutshell - OP (original poster) dives into their work biography as a starting point (e.g. nursing, accountant, cybersecurity manager, etc.) then expand into asking about job prospects, proposed salary offers, or even going into detailed requests. Result?

• They don't even receive responses from the community.

• Many have asked the very same overlapping questions in previous posts (regardless of the date of posting), hence they didn't even put the time to check before posting.

• Very few responses have some guidance or actionable points, as many are just emphatic/sympathetic comments

Having worked in the Middle East region while Khan still is employed there (disclosure: same airline where I used to work), I've witnessed the growing interest in the region following announcements of major government-sanctioned projects, international brands investing in the region or major regional brands announcing their next phase of growth.

Seeing the gap, I started doing a bit more digging and realized that people would benefit from hearing first-hand experience by someone on the recruitment side. Hence, we've decided to tackle this in one way - an episode dedicated to this topic.

We also have a guest joining in who runs a well-known talent/recruitment agency in the region. We're not going to let you know who (have to keep a little suspense), but we did our own work in finding someone who can really speak about the trends in the region.
